Exporting your log

When a session is done you can export it to a standard logbook file and take it anywhere. VoiceQSO supports two formats:

  • ADIF, the universal logbook format. Import it into LoTW, eQSL, or any logger you already run.
  • Cabrillo, the contest submission format. Submit your log without rekeying a single line.

Export a session

  1. Open the session you want to export.
  2. Tap the menu to open the action sheet.
  3. Choose Export ADIF or Export Cabrillo.
  4. Pick a folder on your device when prompted. VoiceQSO saves the file there, named after your session, with spaces replaced by underscores (for example Field_Day_2026.adi for ADIF or Field_Day_2026.cbr for Cabrillo).

When it's done you'll see Export Complete with the saved filename.

If the session has no QSOs yet, you'll see Nothing to Export instead. Log at least one contact first.

Which format should I use?

  • Logging day-to-day, or uploading confirmations to LoTW or eQSL? Use ADIF.
  • Submitting to a contest organiser? Use Cabrillo.

Prefer not to handle files at all? You can also push contacts straight to your online logbook as you log them. See QRZ.com sync and Wavelog sync.
